Drought conditions in 2014, more so than in 2013, resulted in lower yields and smaller clusters of grapes. These conditions, combined with a warmer spring and earlier bud break, and therefore longer hang time, contributed to intensely concentrated flavors in the grapes. Fruity, balanced, and with lighter acidity, this wine will be a favorite. Pair with white meats, fish, lobster, clams, and softer more briny sour cheeses like goat cheese.
