2013 was one of the first harvests affected by the drought, resulting in lower yields and smaller grapes with intense, concentrated flavors. Cabernet Sauvignon is a varietal that ages beautifully, the tannins softening over time. This Cab is full bodied, with a flavor profile including warm spice, plum, and blueberry. It is a perfect complement to red meats, flavorful and heartier (red) pastas, lamb, strong-flavored cheese, and chocolates (especially dark).
